Arrival & check-in
When can I check in?+
Check-in is possible from 2:00 pm. We have a self-check-in machine at the entrance, so you can arrive at any time – even at night. There is no need to call ahead.
When is check-out?+
Check-out is by 10:00 am. If you need a later check-out, please ask in advance – possible depending on availability.
How does self-check-in work?+
There is a self-check-in machine at the entrance of the guesthouse. Simply enter your surname or your reservation number – there is no access code. You then take your key, fully automatically and around the clock.
How do I find the guesthouse?+
We are located at Königstraße 53, 25348 Glückstadt. It is about a 5-minute walk from Glückstadt station. By car: A23, exit Glückstadt, towards the town centre.
Rooms & amenities
What is included in the rooms?+
All rooms are equipped with a TV, desk, shower + WC, hairdryer and free Wi-Fi. The holiday apartment additionally has two bedrooms, a living room, its own kitchen and an alcove.
Is there a room with a balcony?+
Yes, our double room with balcony has its own balcony with a view. It costs 120 € per night (single occupancy: 105 €).
Is there a holiday apartment?+
Yes, for longer stays there is a fully equipped holiday apartment with two bedrooms, a living room and an alcove – for up to 6 people, from 140 € per night.
Is the Wi-Fi fast?+
Yes, we offer fast Wi-Fi in all rooms – free of charge and without a time limit.
Are pets allowed?+
Pets are possible by arrangement. Please contact us in advance so we can prepare the right room for you.
Prices & booking
What do the rooms cost?+
Single Room: from 95 € / night. Double Room: from 115 € / night (single occupancy from 99 €). Double Room with Balcony: from 120 € / night (single occupancy from 105 €). Holiday Apartment: from 140 € / night. All prices per night incl. VAT, breakfast not included. Book directly via our website and always save at least 10 % compared to many booking portals.
How can I book?+
You can book directly via our online booking system or contact us by email (info@gaestehaus-muck.de) or phone (+49 4124 5013 411).
Can I pay by company invoice?+
Yes, invoices in a company name are no problem. Please indicate when booking that you need a company invoice and give us the billing address.
Which payment methods are accepted?+
You pay conveniently on site by debit or credit card. We accept VISA, MasterCard and EC/debit cards.
Cancellation
What are the cancellation terms?+
Cancellation up to the 3rd day before arrival: 80 % cancellation fee. Cancellation from the 3rd day before arrival or no-show: 100 % cancellation fee.
What happens if I leave earlier than planned?+
If you depart early, the full number of nights booked will be charged. Please let us know as early as possible.
Breakfast & food
Is breakfast available?+
Breakfast is not included in the room price. Café am Museum is only a few minutes' walk (approx. 2 min.) away and offers breakfast for 15.00 € per person. It can be added when booking or afterwards.
Are there restaurants nearby?+
Glückstadt has several restaurants and cafés within walking distance. We are happy to recommend our local favourites.
Parking & getting here
Is there parking nearby?+
Public parking is available right on Königstraße. Monday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm a maximum parking time of 2 hours applies with a parking disc. Outside these times as well as on Sundays and public holidays you can park there without a parking disc, unless signs indicate otherwise. Further public parking is a few minutes' walk away.
Is the guesthouse accessible by train?+
Yes, Glückstadt station is about a 5-minute walk away. From Hamburg Central Station the journey takes around 50 minutes.
